As a Dog Owner - I understand how important it is to find a kind & caring groomer with a high level of training and skills. My services are tailored to your individual dogs needs and your lifestyle.  I do not use cages, I groom one dog at a time.  I offer consultations to discuss any underlying issues to do with behaviour or health that might effect your pets grooming experience.  I am particularly experienced in grooming Poodles Poodle crosses & Cockapoos -or any dog with a curly coat (Non Shedding).

I AM A POODLE OWNER - I own 4 poodles a partially blind and deaf 16 year old Toy poodle and a young 4 year old sensitive female toy poodle & 2 puppies aged 15 months .

POODLE CROSSES - Poodle crosses can have the most difficult coats out of all the coat types to manage, poodle crossbreed coats can be unpredictable the type of texture varies. Curley coat care is essential to ensure your dog doesn't get matts. Matting can be very uncomfortable to your dog as it can pull on the dogs skin when they move/walk. Because Matts can be painful to your dog most groomers will take the option to shave off, so not to cause the dog distress. If I can save a coat without distressing a dog I will, but the dogs wellbeing will always come first, remember the coat will always grow again I will work with you the owner to do the best groom for your pet.

NERVOUS DOGS - My young 4 year old Poodle Rosie was very nervous especially around the sounds of the grooming equipment example clippers. she needed lots of help & encouragement to become desensitised to these sounds. Some dogs are very sensitive to their feet and ears being touched. I'm very understanding and patient when dogs are nervous.

I believe in the practice of grooming your dog in a stress free environment, in order to provide a happy, healthy experience.
