My Dogs

I aways test the different types of products on my own dogs Rosie, Amber & Daisy my Toy poodles. For example I test the Temporary/Semi & Permanent colours on them all, and the reason for this is to give my clients a better understanding of how the product will look or last for example the durability of the product. Because it enables my clients to see the product in real life on my dogs, it can also give them the confidence to experiment with colour on their dogs, its fun and if a dog enjoys being pampered and enjoys attention thats exactly what they will get. Your dog is sure to stand out in a crowd.

Creative Grooming Is a form of Art.

As with all other Art forms creative grooming takes time, skill, and effort to hone and all groomers will design and create on dogs fur, but they have to put in allot more time and energy to learn and practice creative techniques like colouring.

Creative Grooming is a great way to pamper and bond simultaneously as well as being a creative outlet.

About the Products

The products I use on my poodles and clients dogs are formulated specifically for pets, which are safe for use without causing damage to their hair. Like colouring human hair, colouring pet hair is a preference, some people will like it some will not. Don't let this be a reason to criticise those who like it. Please take the time to learn about the subject and understand creative grooming professionals work hard to help take creative grooming to where it is today.

If dog has sensitive skin.

(I recommend a patch test for allergies on the pet 48 hours prior to dying ,just like you would for humans if using semi or permanent colours.)

It's ok to be different.

Its ok to have a difference in opinion, some people like purple some don't and that is ok. In fact , this is what makes the world interesting.

UNIFORMED JUDGEMENTS TOWARDS CREATIVE GROOMERS.

But what is not okay is to make uninformed judgements without first getting to know the subject at hand and listening to the professionals in the industry.

Not taking care of a dog is abuse, Failing to maintain a regular grooming schedule and letting their fur get matted is, but DYEING a dog with pet safe dyes is NOT abuse.
