As part of the general Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), I must legally inform you of the information I keep about you and your pet.

How it is used and stored, and receive permission to store and use certain information.

Information gathered.

• All of the confidential information you supply, including your name, email, address, telephone number, your dogs medical details, the veterinary practice where you are registered.

• Details about your dog, its name, breed, DOB, Gender, and colour.

• Details of the grooming process and styling of your dog e.g what length of blades or comb attachments I use, length of coat left, style carried out on your dog.

• Any dislikes your dog may have e.g feet, or ears being touched.

• Any lumps or warts found during the 7 point check are recorded for future grooms.

How we use your information

• To respond to enquires made by yourself.

• To ask you to review us

• For market research purposes

• For record keeping purposes, so we can provide effective grooming services for your dog.

• To deal with queries and complaints.

• To contact you in connection with your appointment, cancellations, for your dog, rescheduling or payment in which case we will contact you by email, telephone, text message or internet messaging service such as WhatsApp.

How we store your information.

• In a password protected database

• Teddy bear grooming website is hosted. If you made a booking enquiry or purchase via our website, your data may be stored through the hosts data storage, databases and general host applications.  The host store your data on secure servers behind a firewall.  

• All direct payment gateways offered by the host adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of bands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express and discover PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our store and its services providers.

How long we keep Data.

• If you have not used our services after 2 years, your data records will be deleted.

• We may need to keep your data for longer if we need it to resolve any disputes, or if we are legally obliged to do so.

Your rights

You may request to:

• Receive a copy of all personal information you have provided to us.​

• Request any corrections to your personal information that are in our control.

• Request that we delete the personal information we hold about you (see below).

Deleting Personal Data.  the 'right to be forgotten'.

• If your personal data is no longer needed by us to provide our services, it will be deleted after 2 years.

• If you wish your personal data to be deleted ahead of this, you can request this in writing.  You will receive confirmation within one calendar week.

You can browse and visit our website without providing your name and contact details.

Like many websites, our server logs use cookies to capture details of your operating system and browser software.  IP address, URL, including the date and time of your visit.  We use cookies to analyse how visitors use our site.  If you do not want the cookies to be saved to your system, you may change your browser settings.
